My Ocean Was Wasted

Stained on keel walls, unaid’d

As you attain shore; b’hind

Waves full, with the debris

you throw ov’rboard, with

Frame of captur’d-eye, the sea

Takes love to the night bet’een

Crania, relax the tide, w/ fellow lov’s

Floating by, all I am is displac’d w/

One touch, ov’r wav’, aft’r lov’

sunk through wet sky

Couldn’t drift past a face kiss’d

In moonlight: key-to-head sad,

Beneath wat’r tasting the nape of

A neck—just anoth’r ocean wast’d.
