Nicotine Breath

At a nearby park in Springhill

You swam in

my head

as

The summer

led us

along.

I could smell

cigarettes on

your skin.

Window seat:

traded kisses

in the shade—

free of the

sunbeams beating

down.

I truly loved

having you

around.
