Touching Places

The touching places:

in cold, crisp moonlight, in foggy dream, in

perpetual tangles, in seams, in-between pillows,

in window sills, in-between legs, in spines, in

the ground, in gentle slopes, in soft places, in

covers, in sound, in sentences, in the wind, in

place of what was once held, in heart:

The touching places exist—abed—

cross my heart—

no lie—abed.
