Nicotine Breath

At a nearby park in Spring Hill

You swam

in heads

summer

led along

I could smell

cigarettes in mouth

Window seat:

trade-off

in kisses in

shade

free of

sun’s beat down

a window’s

open-mouthed proposal

Truly, I loved

you

around

Glimmer of

new spark,

collection

of water

nearby

Ghost

of a cobweb fairy,

trapped,

in corners

of haunted sky.
